Olson holds multiple professional designations including CMEA, AIBA, ABPA, EDFP, BCA, and CEB. Prior to his SBDC role, Olson served as CEO of Bushel 42, a specialty pasta manufacturing company. He brings more than 20 years of agribusiness experience as a farmer and business owner involved in potato growing, processing, and national distribution. Olson earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of North Dakota and has completed advanced training in business planning, grant writing, economic development, and business appraisal through recognized professional organizations.
