Lee Scafidi is a marine surveyor and appraiser based in Metairie, Louisiana, holding the AM designation from the American Society of Appraisers. With over fifteen years of experience in the marine transportation industry, he has served as an officer aboard U.S. Flag oil tankers and as captain on towing vessels, holding licenses including Master of self-propelled vessels and Master of Towing Vessels Upon Oceans. As a NAMS-certified marine surveyor, Mr. Scafidi has conducted numerous surveys and appraisals of inland and oceangoing vessels, barges, cranes, and waterside facility equipment. He completed all four modules of ASA’s Machinery and Equipment Valuations curriculum and conducts all appraisals in compliance with USPAP standards.
