South Mountain Appraisals, LLC is owned and operated by appraisers certified by the Certified Appraisers Guild of America. Mary March, a graduate of Penn State University with a Master of Fine Arts in American Studies, brings over 16 years of collections management experience from the Cumberland County Historical Society and 15 years as a specialist in decorative arts, fine arts, books, and ephemera at a regional auction house. She is a member of the International Society of Appraisers and maintains current USPAP certification. Scott Lutz is the firm’s militaria and firearms specialist with over 35 years of experience appraising, buying, and selling in those categories. Both appraisers travel to clients throughout Central Pennsylvania and surrounding regions to conduct on-site appraisals for personal property, estates, insurance, and specialized collections.
