Christopher Baker is the owner of Baker Valuation, Inc., a commercial brokerage and valuation firm founded in 1995 specializing in commercial real estate, machinery and equipment, and business valuations. Licensed as a broker in Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi, and as an appraiser in eleven states, Baker maintains over 30,000 hours of real estate experience and has participated in transactions exceeding $75 billion in property valuation. Baker holds the MAI, SRA, CCIM, CPM, ASA, MRICS, and CEA designations. His firm specializes in valuations for multi-family properties, Section 8 income-producing properties, office, industrial, and retail properties. The company performed over 9,000 appraisals for the Louisiana Road Home Program and over 1,300 tax appeal valuations for the Louisiana State Tax Commission. Baker serves as a rent comparability reviewer for Section 8 in multiple states and conducts technical, USPAP, and FIRREA reviews.
